Bio

Sharon Prager founded eConcepts Communications (formerly eConcepts Consulting) nearly two decades ago.  She has assisted a wide range of companies and civic organizations with strategic communications, research studies, policy and public affairs, and community outreach.  Additionally she is an experienced political campaign manager, and also helps non-profits with leadership development and fundraising.

Sharon has lived and worked in Canada and Australia, and was employed by BHP Billiton, the world's largest diversified resources company, for 12 years.  She is an original co-author of the Fraser Institute's Survey of Mining Companies that continues annually in Canada. Sharon was one of the very first individuals to advocate for sustainability in the mining industry after completing her Stanford University graduate thesis on a Canadian mining project.  Her articles have been published worldwide, and she is a frequent industry speaker.

Experienced at partnering with communities, constituencies and government, Sharon has extensive experience with California's aggregates industry as well as with other trucking, mining and construction projects.

One of Sharon's most heartfelt projects was a successful study on veteran reintegration for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System that resulted in the first USDVA/CDVA/Cal Guard and Reserve Summit attended by high ranking state and national military personnel.
